Some History of the St. Andrew's Area

York County Directory and Gazetteer, 1870-1871

Sort of a telephone book and yellow pages before telephones and telephone numbers, this book listed all the towns in York County (which included the area where Toronto is now), along with major businesses in each, and a listing of residents:

• Pages 120 and 121 have the entries for Woodbridge and the first part of York Mills.
• Pages 122 and 123 finish the entry for York Mills (and start an addendum).
