Some Street Names in the St. Andrew's Area

Bert Montressor
As noted here, Montressor Drive was named for Bert Montressor. He did some consulting work for the St. Andrew's Golf Club as he knew the developers of it since they and many other Canadians would take golf lessons from him when they wintered in Sarasota, Florida.

Bert's son Ron lived in Toronto for 22 years, but now lives in Sarasota Florida, and sent this article about Bert (use the "+" icon above the image to zoom in).

In that article, for the photograph, note the caption about Babe Didrickson Zaharias, and that there is also a Didrickson Drive and Zaharias Court in our neighbourhood.

Munro Boulevard is named after Finlay Munro, who was the developer for many of the early houses in the neighbourhood.

Neighbourhood streets that have a golf association include Foursome Crescent, Tournament Drive, The Links Road, Lower Links Road, and Medalist Road.
